SIEM & Log Management

Vectra designs, migrates and runs CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM for Australian organisations.

Modernise the SOC. Don’t migrate the legacy.

Falcon Next-Gen SIEM brings security data, detection, investigation, automation and the Agentic SOC together on one AI-native platform. As a CrowdStrike Elite Partner, Vectra does the design, migration and day-to-day running here in Australia. We can deliver a project into your own SOC, co-manage the platform with you, or run it for you with 24×7 monitoring, investigation and response.

SIEM & Log Management

A legacy SIEM can become the bottleneck in the SOC.

Older SIEM programs build up years of log sources, duplicate data, brittle rules and manual steps. If you replace the product but keep the way you work, the same mess moves to the new platform.

A good SIEM change starts with what the SOC needs to detect, investigate and respond to. It does not start by copying every log and rule you already have.

  • Data sprawl

Large volumes of data are collected with no clear link to detection, investigation or compliance.

  • Slow investigations

Analysts jump between tools, indexes and consoles to piece together activity across endpoint, identity, cloud, SaaS and network.

  • Alert noise

Rules pile up faster than they are tuned. Queues eat analyst time without making you safer.

  • Manual response

Analysts still have to stitch together evidence and actions across separate systems to look into and contain a threat.

  • Unclear cost

Storage, ingestion and retention choices lose touch with their real security value.

One data foundation. One analyst workspace. Governed response.

Falcon Next-Gen SIEM is the AI-native engine at the centre of CrowdStrike’s modern SOC. We build the design around data quality, security use cases and clear ownership, so the platform is ready for both analysts and AI agents.

  • Control the data

Use Falcon Onum and native integrations to filter, transform, enrich and route the security data that matters, in real time.

  • Unify detection

Link Falcon and third-party data across endpoint, identity, cloud, SaaS, network and the wider IT estate.

  • Speed up investigation

Search, hunt, triage and manage incidents in one workspace, with adversary intelligence and AI-assisted context.

  • Orchestrate response

Combine fixed workflows with Charlotte Agentic SOAR, and keep human approval for actions that need control.

  • Operate and govern

Measure results, tune detections, manage data, document controls and keep improving how the SOC runs.

From single AI assistants to a coordinated Agentic SOC.

At Fal.Con 2026, CrowdStrike launched the next stage of its Agentic SOC. Agents now work across endpoint, identity, SaaS, cloud and network at once, share context and reach one verdict. The point is not simply more AI. AI does the repetitive evidence gathering and analysis, and analysts keep control of decisions and high-impact actions.

Cross-domain investigations

Agents work across security domains in parallel, so analysts no longer investigate one silo at a time.

Charlotte Agentic SOAR

Combines fixed automation with adaptive reasoning, for workflows that can respond as the situation changes.

AgentWorks

Build and extend security agents, and keep them inside a governed framework.

Human control

Set autonomy levels, approvals and accountability, so automation can grow without getting out of hand.

Unified workspace

Keep data, agents, workflows and investigations visible in one place.

Ingesting everything is not a data strategy.

Falcon Onum adds a real-time data pipeline to the Falcon platform. We use the migration to decide which data you need for detection, investigation, threat hunting, compliance and reporting, and which should be transformed, sent elsewhere or left out.

Collect

Bring in the right data

Falcon data plus the third-party security and IT data that is worth having.

Filter

Drop what adds nothing

Remove duplicates and events that don’t serve a defined security or compliance need.

Transform

Make it useful

Normalise and enrich data so detections, searches and agents have good context to work with.

Route

Send it to the right place

Send data to Falcon or other destinations based on how it is used and how long it must be kept.

Retain

Keep it as long as needed

Keep data as long as investigations, the law and the business need it, not by one rule for everything.

Optimise

Keep reviewing

Keep checking ingest, search patterns and security value as your environment changes.

The difference is what happens after you buy the SIEM.

Vectra’s CrowdStrike Strike Team does it all: SIEM design, migration, data and detection engineering, automation and managed security operations.

We can deliver a project into your own SOC, co-manage the platform, or run it as part of a 24×7 service.

  • Architecture

Design the target platform: ingestion, retention, integrations, roles, data flows, operating model and use cases.

  • Migration

Move with control: legacy SIEM review, content clean-up, source onboarding, testing and production cutover.

  • Detection engineering

Build useful coverage: correlation logic, custom detections, threat-led use cases, testing and ongoing tuning.

  • Automation

Engineer the response: Fusion workflows, Charlotte Agentic SOAR, enrichment, case actions and controlled containment.

  • Operations

Run the platform: watch it 24×7, look into alerts, escalate, help lead the response and keep making it better.

  • Governance

Keep the SOC accountable: documents, reports, service reviews, knowledge transfer, audit evidence and a platform roadmap.

Modernise without changing the rest of your security stack overnight.

Falcon Next-Gen SIEM can take in and analyse third-party security and IT data, even where CrowdStrike is not your EDR. So you can modernise the SOC on your own timetable.

Replace a legacy SIEM

Move off platforms that have become costly, slow or hard to run, and clean up years of built-up content.

Expand an existing Falcon estate

Use endpoint, identity, cloud and other licensed Falcon data as the base for wider security operations.

Keep third-party EDR

Use Falcon Next-Gen SIEM with Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne or other tools, with no need to rip and replace.

Build an Agentic SOC

Prepare the data, workflows and governance you need to use coordinated agents safely and well.

Consolidate SOC tools

Cut separate search, case management, automation and intelligence tools where Falcon can do the job in one place.

Run it as a managed SIEM

Use Vectra for engineering and 24×7 operations when a full in-house SIEM team is not the right model.

Replace the platform without recreating the problem.

We run a controlled migration that keeps operations running while cutting legacy noise, old content and data you don’t need. The goal is a better SOC, not a copy of the old one.

  1. Step 1: Discover

Map what you have now: design, log sources, detections, dashboards, workflows, how long data is kept, integrations, costs and what depends on what.

  2. Step 2: Prioritise

Link data and content to security use cases, compliance needs and analyst workflows, so effort goes where the value is.

  3. Step 3: Design

Set the Falcon design, data pipelines, how long data is kept, roles, detections, automation, governance and how the SOC will run.

  4. Step 4: Build

Connect sources, create parsers and transforms, write detections, rebuild dashboards and set up workflows.

  5. Step 5: Validate

Test data quality, detection coverage, search, investigations, response actions and reports, and check you are ready to go live.

  6. Step 6: Cut over

Move production work across on an agreed plan, with a clear fallback, clear owners and no gap in service.

  7. Step 7: Improve

Tune detections, tidy data, add more automation and mature the SOC once the migration is done.
